Epic deep powder day near Elkford B.C. You gotta see this - a close call with some big trees that jumped out of nowhere.

Snow is pounded out everywhere else may have to go ride there.

It only rained/snowed in town(Elkford). It snowed up higher where we ride. Koko claims probably got another 6 inches of fluff last night. This video was from Weds. There was at least 2 feet on Mear Lake and we were the first ones and only ones up there that day. It's risky going up the claims because you have to cross several active slides to get to the main riding area. When riding in a group we cross each slide one at a time and watch each other just in case something comes down. I'll probably get out for another ride tomorrow. More snow in the forecast!

Haha. Actually I was exaggerating. It's been plus 14 here all week and the snow's all gone. Maybe try Nelson.

Was a awsome week/weekend for riding. Waist deep powder everywhere. You know when avy risk is high there are still lots of fun areas to play.

So many people just get caught up in the hype of wide open bowls and big pulls.
