So how did everybody's turbos run this season? how many kms were logged, any issues found worth sharing, and Plans for next season!

Turbo'd my '13 Xm 163 Tss kit fueled by Boost-it

-650 km zero issues other then 1 belt

next year planning on goin with racers edge skid either 163 2.5/ or 174 3 and raptor shocks all around. Also wouldn't mind throwing a stainless exhaust housing on,
Also second sled may be possible im thinkin 174 nytro on big boost

700 miles on my 14x 163 boosted with TSS. Pull and go both on the prairies and in the hills. Funnest thing I've ever owned on snow.

now for next year it's gonna be a 174 t3 with an instaboost!

id like to hear how the xms are doing with the silber set up. i havent seen any with my own two eyes but they are all over you tube. They are a cheaper alternative to boost. yes may be un intercooled. but uses the same turbos that tss is using.

Just looking to see if they are reliable...

2014 xm ordered everything brand new thru tss. i never even saw sled till build was done. new sled, instaboost, 174x3, easyryde, running boards. whole package. 1300 km went through: 1 reed, 1 exhaust sensor, 2 split pipes(lots of melted panels each time), 1 motor(needed heli ride), probably more but thats what i remember. hav had modded sleds since 2006. big bores, nitrous, etc but this was first turbo. maybe not for me if everyone else has no problems. sledding buddies getting tired of me wrecking trips. working great now. big hiter, u want to buy?

thats what i thought would be the best way. but like i said, it has been running good for a couple rides now. new motor broke in again. might turn boost up next week and see what happens. seems to run consistent at 5 pds but is clutched for 10+/-. maybe thats the answer. leave the boost down and take some weight out of clutch.

Any one have seat time on both side mount and Insta boost turbos? Is it worth converting a side mount into a instaboost?

the throttle response on the instaboost is awesome. when i was having issues this winter i asked if i could go the other way and he just laughed at me. sounded real confident with new pipe design. that said, some guys had 3000 or 4000km on their instaboosts this year with no problems.

Anyone else have an update report for their turbo'd E Techs? The boost bug is slowly creeping back into my life... Would like to hear the good and bad on how these engines are holding up. Specifically the TSS kits.:snow:

Where you are located your not far from tss, but when things go south and they will, you need to fix in a timely manner....

Have had had good luck with Aerocharger, they seam to have there kits defined very well, and good support when needed

av gas or race fuel suppliers start to become your Freinds... And you should be mechanically inclined

Yes, good info. I used to run super and turbo Apex/Nytros so I know the maintenance and importance of keeping up on them. But those damn things were just way too heavy. I couldn't stomach the price of race fuel so I ended up going to meth injection but that was a pita too.
