I am looking at possibly getting an Enclosed Trailer, and have found 2 that are priced reasonable. What are your thoughts or experience with the following:
2011 NEW CargoMate Snowbird 8.5x26 W/5200lb axles $10000OTD
Or
2011 NEW Pace 8.5X24 $7900OTD

wouldnt go with anything less than a 26 then. just my experience. pretty sure the 163 is like 11 feet long? i cant remember. a 26 foot trailer most likely only has 21 feet of straightwall. so not much room to move with 2 163s.

I have heard good things about the Nashcar, I have no personal expirence with either, I did look at buying a used Aluma last year that was 2 years old I think, when I crawled under it to look there were a few welds that were cracked, not saying its a bad trailer the guy could have been very hard on it, But I would prob go with the Nashcar. Not 1000% on this next comment, but I think last year at the snow show Martin Farm was selling Tritons with heat and insulation for around $18000 you may be able to get a non heated Triton for real close to the 14000 Then you will have a trailer with great resale value, Just a thought

Ron (Firefly / Paradis Motorsports) will have his Legend aluminum trailers at the sled show this weekend. Just a thought. Very nice trailers and well priced.

I have an 07 Cargo Mate, and I will differ with most. I paid 11 new in the summer of 07, 28' long and aboslutely barebones stock. I would buy another one in a heartbeat, maybe mine was built on a Wednesday..... I don't know? But I would like to see what they have for an upper end model with furnace and a few acc's. jmo

Aaron,

The sled show is great for pricing all the trailers available to you. I believe I quoted you $15,780.00 for a 8.5 X 28' with 5200lb axles for you but if your thinking of going to a 8.5 X 26' I could sell you one for $15,135.00. I will be in booth #1609 next to the beer gardens this weekend, stop by and say hi. It would be nice to put a face to the name!
