Enclosed trailer in winter

Looking for some advice here. My vacation house is in Breckenridge where the winters are long & cold. I don't have a ton of storage space & I was thinking of getting an enclosed trailer where I either put my 4 wheelers in the winter, or leave sleds in, outside in an enclosed trailer. I'm guessing it would be a better idea to put the sleds in there, but was wondering how sleds would hold up in an unheated trailer for a couple months at a time. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem. Have you considered a sea-can? Good and secure and with a little venting they work well.

Interesting idea- so a container? Will snowmobiles do ok for long periods of time in well below freezing?

Some guys have them sit outside for months and don't ride them...........

One thing about the sea-can would be to watch the moisture levels inside. Hell, they are even putting a bunch of those together and building houses these days.........should work for a sled or two....

If you trust the area and people, a used sled trailer is cheaper than a sea can. Either way it still needs to be locked from the outside. jmo
