In my head

On average, new EVs have 79 percent more problems than ICE vehicles. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) fare even worse with an average of 146 percent more problems. Hybrids, on the other hand, continue to be a bright spot. They experience 26 percent fewer problems than ICE vehicles on average, according to CR’s survey.

What is the law when it comes to a gas powered vehicle parking in a charging station? In the article it said that in a store in Houston they put the stations near the doors and pushed out the handicap spots. I'm assuming, if an EV stopped at a gas pump and went inside he/she wouldn't get a ticket. Is it the same for ICE vehicles at charging stations.

None of the battery fires i have seen exploded, they just burned. That is not a battery fire.

This is a battery fire. My source is someone who hates EV's on Facebook so it's 100% true.

I copied and pasted the main reasons why just for you, at least airlines keep stats on this.

Data has suggested that there has been an increase in lithium battery fires aboard aircrafts and in airports. According to the FAA, the number of lithium-ion battery fires jumped more than 42% in the last 5 years. Incidents of overheated lithium batteries causing smoke, fire, or extreme heat on aircrafts are now happening at an average rate of more than one per week. In 2022, the FAA reported at least 62 incidents involving lithium-ion batteries on airplanes and in airports, compared to 54 incidents in 2021.

By this logic you must not drive a car anywhere. There are 19,973 car accidents every day.

Well it took no effort on my part to get rid of a danger that is real and on the rise, of coarse you have to realise there is a danger in the first place. My batteries pack a lot of juice, they weight 50lbs a piece and i have a lot of them. Same reason i do not store gas in my house i guess.
