Elbow Loop closed for 2014 season

Du e to damage caused by the flood in June 2013, the Big Elbow/Little Elbow Snowmobile Trail, which is usually open January 1st - March 31st annually, will not be open in 2014. This With all the other damage to trails in K-Country it makes me wonder when this area will get the attention it needs to reopen. I loved this loop as where else can you access > 1 meter depth of snow an hour from Calgary? Hopefully it will reopen in 2015.

LAME! oh well, we have to be thankful we have sleds to ride, one guy's cabin near the bow had a shed with his sleds in it, all gone and washed down the river.

Is the road from the parking lot to Elbow loop open and is it being used for logging again this year.I like to take the wife and kids there.There is a nice taboggan hill back in there.Does anybody know?
