Edson Snow Conditions

From the photo's I've seen Edson has GREAT conditions for the rally this weekend. Unfortunately I cannot make it as we have an 80th Birthday Party to attend.

Was hoping to convince the wife for this weekend, but new little one still to much of a handful with the older one. Will be making a play to get out though in a couple more weeks. Hopefully snow conditions will be even better and I can play in some powder at that time.:d

Where abouts is the staging area?
I've seen a post on Facebook saying Edson Recreational Complex and golf course.
When I google mapped that it showed me a field to the east of the golf course. Is this where we are staging?

For south leg yes, north leg is up on the dangerous goods route

South of Edson is the place to be on this side of the Rocky ....those pics are from today .

Am going back either tomorrow or Monday before the warm melt hit !

Btw trails have been groomed and have 6" of fresh on top , the Shwatz Creek cabin is very nice with lots of dry wood , radio and cell charging dock too ....awesome job this club have done ...thanks guys !

We didn't make it Swartz cabin but road in deeper south to some nice hidden areas and found lots of deep fresh.

Where would be the best spot to unload for the south trail. Have truck & deck. Thks.

Unload at Golf Course just follow groomed ditch to river. Can get trail maps from any of the dealers.
