It was fun watching the GBCA guys put their balls in people's faces.
Oh yeah, sure, they can stick their balls in people's faces, the site is broken and RK won't fix it, red rep is only for a select few and I can't do fire bombs? WTF is this coming to!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ron: This has been bandied about for quite awhile now with no results. The Rep parameters seem to be in need of adjustment. We are big people and not in Junior High anymore so what is the big deal about handing out Red Rep and for that matter Green Rep?
IMHO, if a person is worthy of Green Rep (a cool, intelligent, humorous, on the ball, etc., post), that person should be able to received Green Rep whenever. Why do I have to pass it around? The post is worthy, IMHO, of Green Rep and should be honoured.
The same goes for Red Rep; it somebody lays down a douchy post, Red Rep is in order! Two douchy posts in a row, Red Rep again. No big deal and I shouldn't have to pass it around.
It also appears, that some people can't give Red Rep since some of the last changes. There have been posts and posts about this. Maybe I am the first to let you know and all the others expect that you are reading all the threads.

I wish they would have spread out the retailers in the first half with all the other booths in the second half. Seems like a lot was crammed into one side making it busy then go the other side and not as busy. Maybe a little different floor plan would spread attendees out more?

I wasn't afraid to say it, the Rep needs to be fixed! Some have it, some don't and why doo I have to spread it around because of a silly format? If a post is worthy of green or red Rep, one should be able to hand it out. Dale is absolutely correct. The site and various idiosyncrasies need fixing!
I'm just doo-ing my part to try and implement change and get somethings fixed.......:d

I didn't write it as a reply that you are afraid to say something. I simply do not take into consideration that there is a way to rate someone's opinion or other post be it informative or not when I post on a forum.
If there is value to adding such a thing or merit to weighing a post based on feedback and people feel it is beneficial to a forum, so be it.

That's an interesting way to look at it. But in my opinion, it is whether I really like or dislike the post and therefore, I can give green rep (positive) or red rep (negative). The problem has arisen that some members can give red rep and others can't. The question I will ask you is why doo I have to pass "rep around before giving it to someone again" whether or not their post is deserving. IMHO, if you have two block buster posts in a row, I should be able to give you green rep. Conversley........
