The thing that people keep forgetting is that rexall needs a 250million dollar renovation. The taxpayers are going to pay either way, so only an idiot would chose to fix that old building vs build a new one.

I hope Katz makes a shitload of money off this deal, profitable buisness is good for everyone.

If your informed about the the facts, this deal is incredibly good for edmonton. City council is just on a power trip, they are no used to being told what to do.
