Next year will be a "gelling year" but if they pick up a good d man and a new goaltender I see them making the playoffs , Craig Anderson will be available after the Habs finish the sens tonight, but injury prone but a worthwhile investment

Maybe the fishing was bad?

chiarelli will be brining in a coach which is his choice. I do not see Nelson getting the job. Someone with actual NHl coaching experience.

Could be an interesting summer.

Good luck with Chiarelli, hopefully he doesn't dismantle your team like he did the Bruins.

I can't believe Oilers management is now calling draft day - McDavid Day

Very interesting watching mcdavid against nurse in the ohl playoffs right now.... Nurse is a dominating defenseman for sure, but mcdavid definately has that magic that every forward/goalscorer wishes they had.... Both players have good size(especially nurse at 6'6", but a little light on the weight side)....

You never seem too worried about that when they won the cup...........

That's because I wasn't, they had a great team at the time. Then he started getting rid of their best players and for what? A lot of the moves he made didn't make a lot of sense to me and now it seems it didn't make upper management too happy either.

But he's your boy now and like I said, good luck to you.

He will. Some of those guys traded will find a success elsewhere. Hall will get traded.

I hope Hall is not traded :/ He is one of my bright spots on the team. I'd like to see Chia really evaluate what's going on here. Also, just like when they were (continually) in the basement, they might have a hard time finding dance partners in the trade market... What does the UFA market look like this year?

Here's hoping this is a year that they find some sort of success now that the crunch is on to WIN WIN WIN. Or at least do something other than lose.
