Have a 2007 6.7 Cumminis with 6 speed manual tranmission and 3:73 gears in the rear end.

Have had the truck back to Dodge 4-5 times now complaining of a lack of power. They had the truck on the dyno and said everything checked out.

Went for a ride today pulling our race tailer and the Mechanic plugged in and monitored the booast and rail pressure, agian everything checked out....

So when were back the mechanic shows me his truck and points to the Edge controler....cant reccommed this but I've but them on all my trucks...

So I'm Looking at the Edge Juice with Attitude Chip where's the best place to buy.....

I may still have a Stage 1 DPF delete kit for sale if you are interested. I have been experimenting with some different mods with my 6.7 in my efforts to gain some fuel economy. The H&S Stage 1 kit helped our 6.7 gain a few more mpg. I read that this mod is good for 80 ft/lbs torque and 10 hp...but for me the fuel economy made it worth while. I may also have an EGR delete kit also. I ordered my Edge device from a vendor from the Cummins forum. There are some new devices from Edge that you may want to consider.
Good luck with your truck!

Thanks for the info....am moving slowly with this as I dont want any troubles. I would have preferred to get the darn thing pulling hard enough without going to mods as I kind of like warranty....

Spoke with Vinny at Aligator and he steered me away from the Edge products for the 6.7 as he felt the H & S products are better suited to the 6.7. Yey the local Dodge Dealer Mechanic ....who also works on his own installs the Edge controls ....

Seems the more opinnions I gather the unsure I am, as there seems to be a lot of stories of some of these mods solving one problem and creating others that turn out to be expensive and take away from any gains they made and they can affect the reliability.

So I am still in the research mode.....as the truck runs fine, I just feel it should or could be better.

^^^^^DIDO^^^^ H&S all the way for me, just have not pulled the trigger and bought one yet. Everything I have read...on the DCD fourms says H&S or Smarty is the only way.

What is a stage 1 DPF delete kit? or a H&S stage 1 kit? How does a DPF delete go in stages?

Stage 1 H&S kit. This kit deletes the Nox filter and the DPF. The stage 2 kit adds a down pipe off the turbo so you can delete the CAT that runs off the turbo as well as the NOX filter and DPF. I have run many different combinations of parts and have a lot of friends that have tried many other combinations of parts. We have found the things that work and the things that will give the most bang for your buck. If anyone would like some advice about their 5.9 or 6.7 CTD I can help figure out what will work best for your needs/wants.

I was only after fuel economy but my mods also boosted overall performance a lot. The main thing for me is that the truck is now performing better on fuel. If you are not in a hurry to modify your truck there will be some more tuning options available from some brand new tuners as well new tunes from campanys that are already making parts for the 6.7 CTD.

I will be changing or adding a different tunner after I am confident that these new tunes are not going to cause any damage to my engine. There have been many guys blowing head gaskets running some of the latest tuners...most likely too much timing advance and dwell is raising cylinder pressures beyond the limits of the head gasket and head studs...that combined with the stock restrictive turbo and you will have problems.

I have never heard of that intake manifold either. I would use a Wildcard Customs intake manifold, but only if I was going all out. The stock 6.7 manifold will flow WAY more air than a 5.9 manifold. The boost tube is a restriction on the 6.7 but you can build your own for around 65 bucks.

Many of the parts for a 5.9 build up will adapt to the 6.7...things like exhaust manifolds and turbos. The injection system, ECM and intake manifold are completely different unfortunatly. The AFE Mega Canon will fit the 6.7 up until the 09, but 2010 is different...not sure if AFE has one for it yet. I have an AFE intake on my 6.7...it works very well.

I built my own boost tube. I used a Cummins/Donaldson part to make it. The AFE one necks down to 3 inches. Mine is 3.5 inches which will flow more air once I finish some other mods.

Happy Canada day everyone!

i run smarty jr,5" turbo back system and an s&m cold air kit we pull a 30 bumper pull toy hauler with 2 quads and a rhino stock 6.5mpg pulling and seriosly lacking power now 18 mpg with sufficient poweron fuel economy mode. I to have 6.7 and 6sp man and found that if i step it up to the tow setting i have to be careful pulling bigger hills as the clutch would start to slip before the engine would back down but no problems on the fuel economy setting. i have been told dodge is using adual mass flywheel since 06 and they are ch!t so i guess that is the next upgrade. ive been told to go back to the older style which i had in my 5.9 stock one lasted to 400000kms

Those G-56 trannies behind the 6.7 can't hold too much more power, lot's to read up about on the cumminsforums.
