People are so stupid to believe the CBC and their love for Trudeau. Trudeau promised them 150 million dollars a year in tax payers dollars if he was elected. Talk about crooked. Keep listening to the propaganda from the CBC, but when you can't afford to buy anything and your losing your shirt sooner or later your stupid brain will kick in and you will realize something is wrong.

No carbon tax or any other energy tax...
in fact tax credits to keep oil& gas competitive to be replayed later....
pipelines go in , like it or not....
0 foreign aid $$$ till oil recovers
0 refuges fast tracked in...
0 $$$ on climate change...
0 $$$ to CBC........
100% transparency to any funds to any First Nation Person or group as well as a review of the revenue generated by federal $$$...ie : taxes, revenue from casinos etc etc...
Also there is scads of crown land that could be sold cheaply , at 0% interest loan to developiers, provided they pay to develop it them selves in a certain time line.... Both rural and urban.
this would create more growth than government run (wasted $$$$) infrastructure money..IMO
this is just a start.....

You do realize all that will come at a cost, especially to our environment.

Oh and with no tax revenue coming in because you eliminated it what is going to pay for schools and hospitals and such? Not picking a fight just wondering.

can you imagine the line up for No Taxes from other industries such as logging, agri, auto industry. Hell I would even stand in line to sign up.

Well...hopefully... starting to see an upbeat in traffic. should have checked the Journal to see what what we were hauling. Company called back 5 employees, so, hopefully a start. US green buck should assist in our products. My neighbor has a fly in fishing lodge and only has 2 spaces left. Tourists are paying cash now as they get at least 30 % off ! So, lets hope

I was referring to no new or proposed taxes , like the ones mr JT is going to implement. I did not say income tax to be clear. I would have no problem with a certain amount of tax deferral based off long term commitments to projects and jobs ...
Both mr T and whyknot have done a rather large disservice to our resource industry with out clear cut plans. It is making any investor very nervous when the rules are made up as we go along....IMO
In terms of our environment, pipelines are a much safer way to move product than rail or truck... That is an indisputable fact!

Tax is payed out of the profits you make, so if JT puts us into more of afinancial mess, who will be paying taxes ?? As a result , gov. Revenues will decrease along with that our ability to spend money ( wisely) on our environmental concerns.....

How many 3 Rd world countries have cash for environment benefits , not many because they need all the $$$ they have to survive.....
I fully realize you two will never see it this way .... But I do ....

see it's comments like that, that make a point become idiotic. Why do you continue to try and make every point a personal attack. You know nothing about me but you insist on putting thoughts or words out there.

Perhaps think about this, if the pre existing taxes were covering the amount of money needed to pay for the much needed programs like education and medical services do you think government's would add more taxes? Most 3rd world countries have been raped and pillaged for so many years because they turn a blind eye to environment and what is actually the best way to manage their resources. Instead more seemingly like yourself, yes that was a ironic personal comment towards you, they only look at the right now and not the bigger picture. I can tell you this for sure perhaps if these 3rd world countries paid more respect to the environment and to the resources and taxed the major corporations properly rather then taking bribes to fill their own pockets they wouldn't be 3rd world countries. Could actually feed their own people and yes the commadity market would rise.

Sorry nothing personnel at all about my comment to you two! We simply disagree on how our country should be managed....

For example, pre existing taxr evenue will drop because so many resource company's are not making much of s profit right now ! So to keep our current level of service, they need to replace that revenue OR quit spending . Though our GUY chooses to spend more .... In other countries while not fixing revenue streams at home !!
This is a recipe for financial disaster.....

As to your reasoning to third world countries , I believe your reasons are laughable BUT, before you get all pissy..... That is just my opinion....
although I did offer up some ideas to solve problems I see coming on Canada's future....
where are yours ??

Now is the time for our governments to invest in our country. Infrastructure, schools, hospitals, etc, lets give the places that need upgrading the financing they need. Now is the time to spend some money and keep people employed. The debt can be repaid when oil returns and revenues are back up.

With these low interest rates and labour rates, we need to take advantage of this for upgrading our country so when oil and resources are on the up, we have the ability to move people and product around efficiently for years to come.

Alberta needs to get their head out of their ass and save money in a fund for times like this. I seem to remember we had a fund, but the conservatives gave us all the money back to blow.

Rzr, tell me what taxes went up?? Unless you're making over 140,000 then yes, your taxes went up slightly provincially. Federally, taxes remained the same with the exception of earners in 45,000_90,000; they seen a DECREASE of 1.5%, while any income over 200,000 seen a 4% increase. Anyone over 200k seen the same taxes in Alberta as Saskatchewan.

Furthermore, anything bought in BC or Saskatchewan is subject to PST. Businesses are not exempt from PST, so we still have an advantage in Alberta.

When we borrow 1 dollar it cost 5 dollars to pay that back. Of coarse we do not have to worry about paying that back when we are on a spending spree. I would not even comment on taxes until you pay yours..... some people just plain lie to you.

Is Saskatchewan promising a carbon tax ????
There has been numerous reports of many companies moving to Saskatchewan based on the tone of the NDP towards the resource industry...

Taxs ....really simple if people make less , the less tax they pay...so less income for the government . So they either have to cut spending or increase Taxs.
those are the only choices ....period . Have you takin in to account the tens of thousands of average eople who were paying tax on 120000 @ year ( whatever the tax rate is) and NOW they are being payed EI ?
what does that cost ??

You have no facts, only your personal opinions. Nothing you say is backed up by anything.

"Average people" make 120,000 yr, what world do you live in or what are you drinking?

Go do some reading, you are poorly educated and have no clue what you're talking about. EI comes from an insurance fund that we all pay into and employers pay into at 1.4x, please educate yourself! Without this EI fund your hero Conservstives wouldn't have been able to balance their budget as they steal money from it to pay off their bills, thanks for that.

Carbon tax exists in BC already and is actually working out very good for them. Carbon tax in Alberta, funds will be directly put back into the local economy, again please go educate yourself and do some reading.

Good leftist thinking. What you are saying, is when a person gets laid off or pay cut, that is the best time to go out and buy a new truck, take a vacation to somewhere expensive, and renovate the house.....just pay it off later when they get a job. BAD IDEA.
