Rode Eagles today. Unloaded from deck at 4km. Raining up to about 18km marker then snow. Pretty poor visability most of the day as snowing. The snow was a bit better on Eagles. Only played in trees but when stepped off sled it was over your knee in many spots. Fair bit of sleds. Road is crapp to 4km due to logging. Not great place to take a 4 place as the 4km lot is pretty small. It was full today and many parked at 1.2km and that was lots of dirt to cross on sleds. It was an ok day for a tree day with about an hour and half where we could see. It snowed hard at time so I would expect or hope a foot of fresh or more for tomorrow. Trail is a little ruff but likely 60 plus sleds today so should be groomed.

Rode up to owl and blue today, poor visibility but found some good riding in the tree areas. was getting groomed on our way down tonight.

Has anyone been to Queest lately? we are thinking of trying it out tomorrow or Monday.

Would sure be nice is people could park with the thoughts of other people also looking to park

Too all they guys with trailers at 2.5 in owlshead, could have got 10 more trucks up there if u all didn't park like u own the lot

Do we need to put up signs for where truck and decks go, and trucks and trailers???

We need a parking lot! Give up on the bottom and make a larger lot up there then have someone up there to show the dummys how to park..Ever notice they they are the same around the boat launches?

Yes, weird eh lol

Its in the plans, some how make a bigger upper lot, with bluelake closed and the extra pressure it puts on owlshead

When or what is the next thing

It wouldn't matter what solution was implemented for parking, as the world will always be full of dummies that just don't care about anyone but themselves.

Lots of rain last night down low, how was the snow up at eagles and blue?

the sketchy corner at 2km was widened out last night, made it a lot easier this morning. Def wouldn't take anything up there more then a open 2 place. we really appreciated our sled deck this weekend!!

blue was amazing today! Over the hood lots of untouched snow. weather was **** so we stayed pretty close to cabin. groomer was just heading up as we were coming down

Update from the weekend. Rode Eagles on Saturday - Small rigs driving up to 4km (snow starts there) and big rigs at 1.5km. Rained until 18km and trail is taking a big hit down low. Up top was fantastic, first ones to push up towards monster bowl, would say about 30-40cms of fresh. Eagles got another 30cm sunday and 20cm Monday. Snow line definitely came down visually on Monday morning as we were leaving town. Also rode Blue/Owls on Sunday which had about 30cm at best of new snow and was snowing hard at owls on way out. Trail is in rough shape for first 8 kms and small units will be driving up to 2km seems like indefinitely. Conditions should be great all week until snow settles, ride safe everyone as there is a nasty crust layer underneath all this fresh, especially in Blue Lake and Owls.
