Went up owls today - trail in excellent shape ! To bad some of the riders cant follow instructions when they are told Not to drive past 2.5km with there vehicle and there are trucks parked farther up the trail to 7 K ! Like REALLY ! My beef for today ! Turned off at T went to Ecco found some fresh - well not sure it fresh but soft snow ! Went down and did a so called down and around through Ecco and out to meadows and came out at connector trail to blue23 k - went through meadows and back on trail marker 19 - was good ride but seems like late april conditions !
Not being able to read a sign is one thing

But being told not to park past 2.5 km at all

75% of the trucks past the 2.5 lot are snow bikes.... Don't care if it's a bit icy dip sticks.... The ruts from ur truck sucked
Ride from the lot as everyone else did

Rant over

Douchebags eh. Nice if there trucks were sunk and stuck when they got back. There ruts are just helping the trail deteriorate quicker.

100 %.... Unfortunately the one truck parked at 5 km, is a local business that rents, with name all over it

Don't care who he is, lot attendant said no go past 2.5 km.... That means it

Funny thing is the lot was empty enough for them all too, many open spaces...

If it was full I would have understood more so

Guess he is special and wants all to know it.

In spring these guys that back up to the snowline and leave their truck there with ramps out are douches. I like to unload my sleds on the snow too, but then move truck into the muddy lot.
Kinda like unloading a boat. You wouldn't leave truck and trailer on the ramp all day and expect it to be there when you get back.

Lol ya forsure , but there are people that are that dumb, that come here to boat

Seen a few this summer , think there sh!t don't stink and park truck and trailer in the water, for over a half hour, till the boat showed up to load

Nice sunny day owlhead still had the ruts on the way up but was bladed on the way back. Maybe preparing for higher staging.

They plowed to 7 km today with the groomer, won't be long before we are parking there. The lot attendant suggested I could park past 2.5 km as they were plowing when I showed up around noon... just saying. I opted to park at 2.5 anyways. Good soft snow up there today, took my 3 year old up to the cabin for her first time, plenty of smiles all around!

Its easier to just accept that the precip is likely rain, then should it end up being snow you can be happy rather than disappointed.
