It's funny that the hunters side of owls was like spring snow, but the north side of owls has good pow

Thanks, Well we will try and find some decent stuff in and around trees then. Hopefully some sun so I can at least explore the area. He said there is a spot where we can ride right from his cabin.. I wana say Mable summit or something. can't remember. His cabin is right at the golf course in the big Condos at Mable. I've only been there in the summer, wich I might add could be the closest place to heaven I've ever been!

Couple of Updates: The Blue Lake trail is now being groomed from the bottom parking lot in Malakwa as logging appears to be done for the season (We hope).

Eagle Pass: Thanks to Gord, Wes, Joel, Matt, Pete, Glenn and Ken, we were up there all day today (Tuesday) clearing a cat trail from the gas drop in another 2 km towards the new cabin. The next section (about 1k)is going to be a challenge but we will keep working on it at future work bees

The trails have been fairly quiet over the past couple of weeks but the Grooming Manager tells me that we will keep the Connctor Trail between Owlhead and Blue lake open with occasional grooms.

Conditions are firm with a a bit of new on top...Trails in are smooth as can be.

where you go this past weekend? was going to go out yesterday but the snow around home is hard as frozen dog shat in places.
hopefully by next Monday should be some snow landed in places out west by the looks of the forecast .

Eagle Pass Update: Club Members and Snow Cats went up Eagle Pass on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday to continue working on extending the groomed trail to the new cabin. As of late Saturday afternoon, the two cats arrived for the first time at the cabin. Thanks to all those involved to help this cabin and trail project, that has been a decade in the making, come alive!
