Beauty day up Blue today, trail ride for me but an adventure for Mr. Orange and his Mrs.! Trail up to the cutoff was great but the rest whooped out, kinda like the sledding areas. We did find 8-12" of fresh untracked snow in those "secret" spots around Cummings! A tour through the meadows and onto the lake and we called it a day, need snow!! Helmet off to Mrs Orange, she had that 700 RMK Rocky Mtn King pinned most of the time, and even though it'd take 5-6 pulls to get the beast started she never wimped out! Atta girl! Now, if the fashion police had been out we'd have been arrested, but thats old school for ya! Great day folks, see ya tomorrow!😎👍

Two posts in a row, bit of a "post hog" , guess no one else sleds!! Did a day up Queest with Mr and Mrs Orange, they haven't really been past the cabin so dragged them back to Queest Lk for lunch! Beauty day, great trail ride for them and old eagle eye here spotted some pristine untouched and untracked areas that deserve a closer look, next time with the regular crew!
It doesn't really have to be said that its tracked out pretty much everywhere, that and the trail at the bottom is starting to get 100' stretches of straight dirt. While that may not bother those that get a new sled every year, us pensioners don't care to wreck stuff simply because of trail conditions, I'll save my wrecks for a good climb into a big tree!! Mrs. O had the Mtn King pinned most of the day, afraid of nothing and that little 146" tracked worked great with these conditions. With that said, she is now on the hunt for a used XM like her hubby got from me, my question was, how about a Octane Blue 175"" !!;) Great day guys, glad I could get you back to see some new country!!

Rode queest today, burned a whole tank and came back on fumes. Found our fair share of untouched snow but it’s setting up and can go places quite easily. End of the day the last 2km of the trail were pretty well gravel with a bit of snow on the sides. Some big holes in the parking lot with lots of gravel coming through.

Road EP Saturday a lot more tracks up top than usual with all the blue bird days last week. Still found some good snow and avoided most of the tracks. Wind was really moving the snow around and the old tracks were setup rock hard.

Well, it was a day of.........................men? Billdozer, Half Throttle Ed, Birthday Boy, Butchy, Roberto and myself did a trek up Owlshead, searching for that magic spot of 5' of fresh snow and no tracks, we failed, but not miserably! All in all a banner day, starting out from the meadows past 17km and working uphill, we actually found some gravy spots that were untouched. Our best area though was up and over into Eco, where we dropped wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down and found untracked areas and snow to the headlights, gotta like that! The boys had a great day, lots of stucks and rollovers and even some sled damage! You gotta like that!! Great day guys, sled with you folks anytime and hopefully before you head back East!

Sledding sucks the big one! Billdozer, Butchy, Half Throttle and myself did a Blue trip today. Meadows top and bottom, BEHIND cabin, Blue Lk, 911, 200HP and even up over into Sugar Loaf, brutal! The only place we found fresh powder was in the cabin where someone forgot to snort a couple of lines! To say we need a big dump is an understatement,, not that kinda dump Ed!! About all we did accomplish today was to keep BRP in business with damaged/wrecked stuff, it was an ugly day all around. The "better than sitting on the couch " did come up but was met by muttered profanity !! Great day guys, I should be outta the hospital by the weekend! Kidding!

Well kind sir, you are making it sound like I made a good decision to be stuck in my basement for the last couple months. Last month, you would have rather been ice fishing with a Tundra and now this? I've got nine rooms developed; drywall and painting are done, doors arrive today, and we have flooring to do that will arrive the end of this week. I am hoping for some March madness and without that, I will really be looking forward to next winter!!

Your welcome! Ya, it could very well be over, by the time we all get our sleds fixed could be Spring! I figure if Sugar is beat up so bad its gotta be bad most other spots. Maybe I'm to fussy but gotta draw that line in the snow! The trail was nicely groomed though, there's a bonus!
