What mods have you done to your e techs motor and body and how have they worked? What do you think the hands down best mod is? Pictures and prices would be awesome

Yeah I want to pipe mine as well I was thinking bmp can and y pipe but they don't make a pipe for the e tech yet.. So I don't know what one to go with,, what one were you thinking of going with? And stock summit gearing isn't good enough, just dropping or adding a tooth?

I'm gonna go with Spi pipe. Y pipe doesn't make much of a difference on these sleds.
And I'm gonna add a tooth so I have more torque/track speed while climbing.

Y pipe makes the most difference if you want to gain power, If you want to loose power consider some of the aftermarket pipes.

We have clients with our Clutch kit, Lightweight muffler can and Y pipe.
They all mentioned better results.

We also do a head mod for more power for high elevation riders.

For the etec? Maybe you need to some more testing. Snopro on here ran a Spi pipe last year with noticeable gains. For how much a y pipe costs, its not worth it for the little bit you gain. If I'm wrong, you can let me know, but I have talked to several dealers, and they don't recommend doing a Y pipe.

I test all the time, Thats what we do is build engines and exhaust components and test. I have tested our Y pipes with gains, I have tested others pipes and lost up to 8 hp. So I don't need to talk to dealers who will sell almost anything to make a buck. I see crap on the walls at dealers and wonder why but its not my business. I have seen the spi y pipe it is almost identicle to stock, so no gain, and I see dealers trying to sell them. Our Y pipe is far from stock and makes a difference.
I was also testing a few times in june and july, you?

No, after a few cranks going from heavy pistons 280 grams extra approx. the cranks take abuse. also waiting over 7 months for pistons I'll use the cutler 98mm pistons.
Last time, a couple years ago new crank broke, took out the cases and cylinder. So not going to go thru that again. I built a 975 for the IQ racer, at least its reliable and good power.
