It looks like I have 3000 km on my E-Tec as the ski's are beat and the decals are falling off. The motor is pulling strong and rarely hestitates but I will get the ECM reflash anyway. It pulled 2 cords on the first 2 belts before 250 kms so I changed the helix to a straight 42 and the belt problem seemed to stop but the clutches were still a bit hot. Now I went to the floating secondary and a 47-44 helix and the clutches are even cooler. I still will make some more clutching changes just to smooth out the low speed motor feel as it feels a bit harsh with the current set-up.
I love this sled even though I ride with Cat and Polaris lovers who are always giving me a hard time.
Hits: Power, Traction, Suspension, Narrow skis stance, First pull starts, Fuel economy
Misses: Skis are soft material, Front Springs are too soft, Side hilling could be better, stock clutching is hard on belts and clutch alignment is still off from new.
Also it does not overheat anymore like it would during break-in!
