Wow, great deals here! Not wanting to say anything bad about Terry and the gang. But just want to give a special thanks to Arctic Cat for providing these great prices after a couple of brand loyal guys in my family paid top dollar snow checking 1 and purchasing another in November, of the said models above to the tune of 5k more than current pricing!! Thanks Cat! Great job bringing in new people to the sport!

These seems to be the norm with all brands this year.

These seems to be the norm with all brands this year.
I guess that is the price of getting the latest and greatest but yes the advantage of snowchecking is somewhat dismal compared to years in the past. Having said that dealers are holding there margins higher and if Cat did not for example give rebates imagine what that list would be next year. How can dealers survive carrying that much non current inventory. The Manufacture's have an obligation to look out for the dealers as well.

These are some super deals, and as far as manufacturers offering year end rebates - this is not a new thing, happens every year. To apex88: would you rather the dealers pocket the difference of what's offered in rebates, or pass the savings onto the consumer? I would personally chose the latter, and yes - I snow check my sleds... pretty much the only way to get the latest and greatest, although I did buy an M800 in July from T&T as well. The market is very dependent on snow, hence the reason for a bunch of unsold stock. If we'd had an amazing snow year and our economy was a bit better, there wouldn't be year end rebates, as in season stock wouldn't exist - but it's really hard to predict what Mother Nature will do. Any dealer has a minimum order, or they won't be a dealer very long. Sure, the manufacturers could produce less iron, or offer "spring only" packages - it would help the used market out significantly, but if you were a shareholder, you'd expect a return on your investment, so ALL manufacturers tend to overbuild every year.
Not looking to ruffle feathers, but the same business practice exists with any vehicle or recreational market, whether it be an RV, boat, quad, sled, motorcycle, or automobile. End of season deals will always exist, and for those who don't have to have the "latest and greatest", it's a good opportunity to save some bucks, even if they have to look at the machine over the LONG summer.

Thanks Karl, I tend to agree with you. Snowchecking isn't the guaranteed best deal. It never will be. You get extras that you can't get through the year, usually a special colour way, increased warranty, and a few goodies. Generally you also get your sled early in the season.

FWIW, we haven't ever seen rebates like this. Or I haven't anyways! And I've been Terry's employee for nearly 10 years. This was unexpected for us as well. It may have something to do with the snow, or the down turn in the economy? Arctic Cat does have a new CEO and he is very aggressively trying to help the dealers cut down on their non current inventory - which makes us happy, and the prices should be making our customers happy.
