you need to contact someone who knows what they are doing!!!

those new particulate filters are there for enviro reasons, and the engine has been tuned to run with them. if you cut all that out, that could be the problem, could be a back pressure thing, combined with air/fuel computer problem.

Is that 16 mpg Highway, city or combined and what did you get stock. I have a 2007.5 LMM and get 22.5 - 23.0 mpg all highway. Driving to work everyday from Stony to the west end i average 20.2 - 20.6 mpg. This is hand calculated mileage. Truck is all stock and mileage is better than what every one told me i would get. Cruise is always set at 110kmh. Have yet to check mileage pulling my enclosed trailer but typically could care less about mileage when pulling.

Exactly do not take them out I'm a dealer and all WARRANTY we be gone.. They serve a purpose. Smurff is that combined mileage? Also do you have the speedo right with the tire size? What I'm seeing is 18 to 25 with the chitty Sulfur Diesel we have in the states... If it was my diesel that would be just about right foe all around the way I drive..;)

Smurf, if you keep your speedo under 180 km/hr, perhaps your mileage will improve, maybe put a block under the pedal to prevent driving over 110 on the highway! HAHA!

LOL Good plan Ryeser......:d:beer:

Play with different HP settings.I know with my last Duramax once I lifted it I couldn't get over 16 to 18 mpg and before that it was 20 mpg(with mods).I've done lots of reading on the LMM's and there is 4 of these trucks in my family and we all average 14 to 16 mpg and trucks with DPF delete only expect 4 mpg better on average.Which at todays prices is huge savings. So with a lifted truck expect a little poorer milage.

i have an 07 duramax and i noticed it increased at around 20,000 km, but a really noticable increase at about 50k km, after about 80k km the mileage usually doesn't change. just my results from another duramax i have owned

Warranty ya know about not having it.
hwy mileage 120km
Speedo and tire size corrected by programer,
Mileage based on 4.5 liters per gallon.
Just though I would get better then 16 - 16.5 mpg
with all the upgrades.
I will see if she will get any better with time.

Thanks for the info,
Smurff

than you are using canadian gallons, try using the american gallon, which is 3.89 litres per gallon, since we always here about miles per gallon, and most often it is done using the US gallon.
