Toyo WLT1 are winter tires that are E rated. Toyo AT III are all season and not winter specifiec tires. This makes a huge difference as well.

My guess is both kill mileage. The engine is revving higher but you also have a wider rear end that doesn't cut through the air as well.

My buddy and I both had 2017 platinums and I think his had 3.55s like mine. Not 100% sure and I was always at least 2l/100kms better on fuel unloaded.

250 RPM difference between 3:73 and 4:10 ratios .
For gas engines the higher ratios work but in a diesel it doesn’t make sense unless you’re pulling all the time .
Diesel has torque at lower rpms so why would you want higher rpms at a cruising speed .
DRW if not needed is a complete waste of money .
Wait for your factory order !!

If you are pulling at near max weight a lot, the lower rear end is nice to have. Just saves a bunch of shifting if you are pulling any hills. Otherwise, completely agree.

Love my dually with heavy trailers, quads on deck etc. Horrible in the snow, even with studded Haks. If you don't need the capacity of the DRW, it's not worth the extra tires, pain to park etc. As for mileage DRW vs SRW, gear ratios etc. who cares? If buying a 100K truck a few L/100km shouldn't even cross your mind...

Everyone says that and I disagree. Wouldn't be able to afford those 100k trucks if we were just carelessly pissing money away. I still care about my mileage because extra dollars help. Especially with the price of fuel and everything else skyrocketing

With where fuel is sitting today, 2l/100km adds up to $1200 / year in a real hurry.

Plenty of guys would be willing to trade you for those 410s I bet
In june I paid 2k tro get my 373 changed to 456 in a 2012 megacab

Like has already been said, if your not doing a lot of heavy haulin, skip the dually it’s not worth the extra hassle. A SRW tonnner will haul a sled deck, sleds and gear all year long with no problems! I would wait.

I don't disagree. I've been running a SRW for the last 5 years with a deck.

Sold my truck a couple months back with the impression my new truck was on its way. Sounds like maybe February now. It's worse than Polaris snowchecks.

Might just settle for a lesser optioned SRW that I can find somewhere.

I was in the same boat a few years ago - had a 2002 then a 2005, both SRW, long box Cummins 2500’s. I was shopping for truck #3 when a really nice DRW came up and I kinda said “why the hell not?” and couldn’t be happier with my choice. SRW would have been fine, but the dually kicks ass at tasks like this:

only 2K???? I expected it to be more than that, I've got 342's in my 13 3500 Cummins..... I want 373's

Two of my business partners ordered trucks around the same time I did.

1 ordered a loaded 21 Ram 3500 Bighorn at the end of March. Received his truck at the end of July

I ordered at the end of April. Very similar truck to partner #1. Expected to receive mine end of August based on partner #1. Sold my truck beginner of September after the dealer insinuated the new truck should arrive soon

Partner #2 ordered a loaded 21 Ram 3500 Limited end of May. Received his truck the first week of September.

We all ordered from the same sales guy. I spoke with him today. Truck still isn't built. Looked in to it, he claims if I get rid of 3 options, my order will get pushed through. The three options are the high output Cummins, fifth wheel prep package, and Night Edition. Two out of the three are pretty much deal breakers for me. Fifth wheel prep I'm only really getting for resale factor, I'm going to have a Truckboss on this thing for the next 4 years.

Sounds to me like the dealer screwed you. They should have never have said to sell yours before the build was even started. While there is shortages and times are way off for builds, if they gave 2 chits they could easily know a month or two before it arrives to give you a heads up to sell.
