we just finished building our 2011-2016 Superduty dual 40" brackets for behind the grille

Would it be legal to run those 100% of the time? And what about discarding the factory lights, could a person do that with the lightbars up front instead?

Maybe the only one so far.

I try to form most of my posts in such a way that they work either reading plain or sarcastic. But this one I'm more thinking the plain way.

I just thought there was a rule about having to have offroad lights covered while on roads... or maybe that is just if they are too high? Seems like a weird situation for a light to be legal with an approval stamp, in a approved location, but you can't use it as a regular light. I guess it would be like a factory high-beam - not supposed to leave them on 24/7 for the simple reason that it is "too bright", however that is determined.
