The RCMP handed out this information sheet last year.

I have contacted them for an updated sheet.

I have been stopped several time by the parkland peace officers and he informed me that riding along the ditch of any numbered hwy is illegal. Apparently the cause they are federally owned or somthing the laws are different, He said range roads, township roads and forestry road all depend on the county. All three times i have been pulled over riding along side the yellow head they just checked insurance and reg and let me go cause its to hard to enforce cause so many people ride there. I was also given the same speal riding along 633 by alberta beach.

I know its lac ste anne, But its still a numbered hwy so its a no no.

Until recently, the RC's would overlook 633 as long as you weren't being safe and respectful. That should no longer be considered the case. The ATV and Snowmobile clubs are working to get the province to allow an exception at least for a portion of 633.

I heard something about that. would be nice to be able to cut from rr25 down to the town without getting in trouble. same with where the trails end toward darwell so you can get into darwell for fuel or a burger at the bar. The only problem is where the ditches get narrow.
