Not sure what country you said you are from but in this country we have laws and it is illegal to drift on the streets. If you like our country, and obviously you do or you would not be here please live by our laws.....

I will have my signature printed on those banks while I drift ;) loool

Thanks for replying tho

The youngsters start with the first snowfall and go around the undeveloped subdivisions and have a ball. Then they pull their buddies on GT racers and they "drift" up over the curb and along the undeveloped property. They doo have a lot of fun!

But, as the snow gets deeper and the berms get higher/harder the fun stops and they move along to sleds.

There is a lot of accidental "drifting" out here and the sides of the vehicles really show their lack of driving ability or lack of common sense. Ice and hard snow banks don't make for playful drifting, IMHO

Get off your high and mighty horse. Your trying to convince us you've never gone drifting in your car/truck during winter?

I say so long as no one is around and your not going to damage someone's property, go for it.

The od fish tail, guilty as charged "drifting" no. Big difference. I had off road dunebuggies for when i wanted to drive like an idiot and trust me i did.

Come to think about it "drifting" didn't even exist when i was a teenager.

wow... harsh...

Why beat down on a guy who wants to have a little fun "drifting" his 103hp front wheel drive pontiac wave????

as if he doesn't have enough problems....

Saqer.... thats why we have sleds & quads... seems to me you had a bike, find a lake and take it "drifting" I used to beat the snot out of my Moms 82hp toyota tercel hatchback in mall parking lots but I was only 15 and the car was "borrowed without permission" so it was cool.....

oh man those turcel's are tough! Me and my buddy's have one and we bag the piss out of it down quad trails going Mach chicken! Even bent the frame from sending it a little too big lol also have a old geo metro for bagging, those cars sure can take a beating, I bet any new car today wouldn't last 3kms down the same trails..

The guy is asking where there is a safer place to do it away from the public and public streets.

Yeah there's a ice track south of spruce grove I've herd, don't know exactly where though

Hmm south or Spruce Grove I'd be curious where as I live in Stony. I know there's a track by Leduc on a small skinny lake just east of QE2 I see it from the plane when flying into Edmonton Intnl. The pic above was west of Calgary a couple weeks ago.

Parking lots after hours
I got a good parking lot donut story, they built the big IGA in Peace and my buddy rips in there to do some donuts on the brand new paved parking lot in his 80 something camaro with a 4 speed. this is about 4am in july, does a couple right turn donuts and it kind of grabbed when it slowed and his driver's door comes open....he's rolling on the pavement, the old camaro idling in 1st gear towards the main doors. we could have helped him, but we were laughing too hard. if it wasn't for the cart island she woulda been in the store. good times

hey gymbrat....remember Dave Larson? lol

Try way out on back country roads, a buddies dad would drive a (snow plow) and the banks some how would b perfect for (skiers) being pulled behind a Vehicle. Or sledders. Sorry a bit too old for drifting. Have fun and be safe.
