Dragon Tail Light

I just had my tail light taken out by a snow bungie on the weekend. Any ideas for a replacement.

If the only problem your having with your Dragon is a tail light, thank your lucky stars.

l.e.d tailight from specialty sled, rivets right to the back bumper and is very bright, small and is out of the way so that this doesnt happen again, been there done that. hope this helps.

I would also like to know about a good smaller led light. I have a 2010 assault with an under seat bag and a fuel rack. I wanted to install a tunnle bag for my strap and small tools. I hate my heavy pack. So I went and got the polaris one but it won't fit because of the stock tail light. I would like to get rid of my factory one for a small LED. any body else have this issue and what solution? I would like to use original mounting holes.

Ken at specialty sled sent me this pic - I will be ordering one also this week - my tunel bag I have is mounted to open from the back - the stocker tail light makes it a pain in the azz to open - no worries now though cuz its smashed to chit - lol

Yeah I have one of those on my Nytro But instead of just a 3 LED light I got the 6 so it is a little longer, but it works great and I really like the look to
and I think it was $75 or something

got a pic of one mounted on a newer polaris? the web site said adapter required. I also saw the new 2011 tail light looks smaller. maybe that could work to fit my bag and gas rack on.

Hey, Sorry guys, haven't been on here for awhile. Missing out on some great topics! Ya the light is just the strip light led from princess auto like onlypolaris says. The bad thing about it is the amount of work required to mount it like I did, which is also a positive for me, cause likely be very few out there like it! That's the point behind custom!

Also, you don't have a park lamp without some electronic background, as you need to put a resistor in the park circuit for a voltage drop to have a "low" beam situation. The break light or high beam situation is direct to the light with diodes & what have you. Maybe there's a market in this circuit & led combo, assembled in the snow flap? :d

i can check for you. i actually got one i can give to you for cheap. took it off my dragon and now that i no longer have it i have no need for it.

i got a spare flap too. and dont forget to order the adapter if u go aftermarket tailight on the cfi polaris. u need it. only 20-30 bucks from the states.

I cut down the rack to fit a wedco 10 litre fuel can and have it mounted closer to the seat on my Assault. Then I had enough room to mount my tunnel bag on the back where I carry a spare shovel some tools and my bunji's.
