So this weekend alone I saw: a Pro burn to the ground, a cat getting towed by a new 18 cat, a blown up ktm 300, and heard reports of a blown up 850.

What does all that mean?

What it means in my opinion.. if it's man made it's gonna break!!! The funny thing is it happens to us once, twice or more. The reality is it's frustrating sometimes but we will fix it or buy another and do it over cuz I think we all love the sport. I hope doo takes care of the 850 people because they are a very nice machine.

Is there no moderators at S&M anymore? Can't somebody shut Kanedouche down, seriously, everybody is done with it dude. Is the G4 the most impressive stock sled ever built, Yup, does it break, Yup, can it be compared to a dragon of any year, Nope, is there anything that it can be compared to Nope, will it get fine tuned and get better every year, guaranteed. Go away you greasy troll

Buddy took at least 3 engines out of his 07 700 dragon I was there for all of them, another took 5 out of his 05 900rmk shop was getting pissed off that they lifetime warrantied the engine while he owned it. My deep hatred towards Polaris started in those years the 850 defiantly has a ways to go to get dragon status. It is a piss off for those that buy them that's for sure but from what I read the 850 is so hit and miss I rode one on the weekend it was awesome but I'm not buying a belt engine bulk head eating machine anytime soon.

its possible your friend got a lemon that was never fixed properly not witnessed that many issues on the 700 although there was a piston ring change in 08 ...but you are correct totally about the 05 900 scary sled my 07 700 gave me 1800 trouble free miles and my 06 900 did 1100 but it had aftermarket parts which helped it perform better and be more reliable. it is very bad when the manufactures use the consumers as the product tester's

With the new clutch crank blown motor reports popping up I believe the doo is firmly pulling into the lead as the biggest flop ever...........with no support from the manufacturer.

Good luck with your 2018..........will its issues reach the same level?????????

Snowcheck one and let us know how it turns out.

lol

Again dude..If you are having that many problems... Go to your dealership! If it is a big of a lemon as you say they will go to bat for you and BRP will step in. We just had a 2017 freeride with some issues that it had to come back multiple times for... BRP ended up stepping up and putting money towards a new snowcheck for him and we are keeping the sled. This is where a good dealer relationship comes in handy... They will go to bat for you! I really hope you get your stuff worked out.. and If you keep having problems with it man come and see me! Ill see what I can do!

For the record, you say you are keeping the sled, but six months from now what happens to it? I can't imagine your plan is to sit on it forever.

Come to the rally on Saturday and we'll talk.
Then maybe you can have my sled to.

Yesterday was the first day I've ridden with an 850. It took my buddy from a decent rider to a hero. Thing downright rips, over 1500km on it blown a few belts but with how hard it pulls no wonder.

Doesn't really matter... BRP stepped up so the dealership wasn't losing money on a trade either.
