my bud has an '08 700 dragon, it's blown up twice. he's fixed it again and is trading it for an '11 800 pro. sucker for punishment, he is...

From what I have heard there are good ones and bad ones. My buddy rides one and the only issue it has had in 2000 miles is a throttle position sensor needed adjusting.

I've got 2800 miles on mine and love it! Keep it stock and it will keep up with most 800's. I have a SLP pie and can and lighter weights. I have to do the top end as preventive maintance but other then that they are great sleds. The walker even shocks aren't so good but the rest is golden!

I sold my snow checked 2007 Dragon 700 155 last December, yearly preseason checkup with my local Polaris dealer that's it. Never left me, never disappointed me, great reliable sled, not a power house but no slouch either.

Same here.. had an 07 700, pipe/can, it would outrun the 800's up to about 4000', never had an issue with it...

Had an 08 700 and never had a problem. Sold it with about 3500 miles on it.

I bought a 2008 700 RMK 155 for my son, new in 2008. He has 6,500 KMS and it has been perfect. Just rebuilt the top end (didn't blow but I thought it was due) and he is still riding the heck out if it. He is 19 years old and that machine has been ridden hard. It has been a very good sled. I had a 2008 800 dragon and that was a different story :)

I have one since new. I had to get the top end done at about 1700 miles. I was told that it was due to a faulty voltage regulator. Apparently the stock one was crap and they are now using a better one. Replaced the rear shock with a RideFX as the Walker Evans was not working well. I like the sled, pulls good, but still p#ssed about that top end. Gotta watch that.

i have a 07 700. 3200 miles without any engine issues or breaking a belt. only issue was the chain tension piece went out. it was covered under a recall i believe. Just extended it to a 136 so i don't get stuck as much in the U.P. Great sled in my opinion.
