Still have the old turbo? Have you taken it apart? You might be able to repair it with nothing more then some time and effort. I have repaired probably 15-18 turbos now.

Different issues. I haven't done a factory dodge turbo but international and mack turbos. Something usually binds up the actuator but there are different designs so they all have different issues. If it is a catastrophic failure like the propeller then there is nothing I could do.

generally the cause is soot build up. THere is a "book" cleaning procedure, but quite often it doesn't work.

Ya mine had lots of oily crap in it, almost like tar really. I need to find out where the glycol is coming from that was in my boost tube.
