We try and let it play out and see if it goes anywhere.
And yes we do pull his and other useless threads, often immediately. We try our best not to overreact.
Most of the troublemakers have had numerous banning, many have come back and become model members, others, not so much.
Mostly, we are not like Snowest when it comes to site mgmt. It's a tough job.

I hear y'all, and we are working on a better Mod plan to address these problems.
Unfortunately many peeps thrive on negative energy, I'm not one of those though and we will be coming down heavier and heavier on Peeps and Threads we feel are counterproductive. We don not want to change overnight, that just frustrates people.

See...but that is part of the problem.....no consistency with the moderators.....don't let things slide for weeks or months and them drop the hammer and overreact!
Just be consistent.
If there is a set of rules.....then consistently apply them.
If the rules are out of touch that you don't think they should always be applied, then change the rules to a model that works.

I truly understand that being a mod is a tough job but I think you guys are overreacting.....just my humble opinion

Your opinion is on track, we have rules, but they need amended and then we can more constantly Moderate.
Remember, Moderators are human too and we all have differing opinions - and why don't they have a Moderators Day Parade????

Mikey...we've been over this but for your entertainment I will say it again:
Web Sites are categorized to set limitations - Porno, Language etc.
We are not either and have restrictions. We are not to allow swearing, nor do we want to so our younger members can access and enjoy the site.
The reasoning for the "adjusted words" is they are not the swear word. Just a way of allowing the members to express themselves and get away with it. That being said, if it's abused then maybe we will have to clamp down on that.
