Down side to 3" lug

So does the 3" track bring down the "fun factor" much? Still debating whether to get the T3 or not. I have no doubt it will go more places than a 2.5, but almost thinking that might take some fun out of it.

Has anyone besides pfi572 put one on and then taken it back off?

I had one on an older sled that got parted and have not put it on my new one.

It doesn't take the fun out on a really deep day it adds to the grin when you do something stupid or go someplace you know you would have gotten stuck and trenched your boards in before but now grab a big handful and keep on tractoring.

I guess the way I look at it is, the way stock sleds go nowadays its not much of a challenge to climb anything. Even tight lines through the trees, a good rider is going to be able to get through some pretty hairy stuff on even a 154 2.5. A 163 or 174 by 3" is going to make it almost effortless.

The only analogy I can think of is hunting deer around this area. I can pull out my 300 and pop one any time, easy....no challenge to it. Or I can pull out the bow and make it a bit of a challenge. Because the 300 gets the job done, but there is no challenge to it. I think I have myself talked out of a T3. Too bad cause I love the yellow.
