Honestly, I would put most of the cause of that on the Mud Light tires.

I have seen many times where the handle bars go into full lock and many Tye rods and axles broke with quads running the Mud Light tires.

Your kidding right..............Nothing to do with clipping the bank on the trail!
I know there are guys that dont care for those tires cause if the presure isnt bang on they can pop the bead,I think they are the best all around tire on the market!
Nice Pic Mike LOL!

any tire with a sidelug can bend tie rods easier esp if your toe is out.

the # 1 reason for bending tie rods is if they come slightly lose and then grab a side berm or rut.. puts so much pressure on them they just bend like nothing.

i keep a spare on my ATV.

i nearly endoed my bike once from this and the tie rod was lose when we checked it and took it off to bend it strait on the trial.

make sure they are tight and make sure you toe out isnt to much.

So, I was at Bruderheim on Monday with some friends, and was wondering if my quad is supposed to look like this?

I have had this happen to me a couple times luckly I was going slow when the Tie-Rod broke. I always carry a couple 3-4 inch hose clamps to do a solid temp fix when this happens.

Probably a bit late, but i got my stuff through Royal Distributing. $120 for both sides complete, plus they are a heavier 12mm instead of the 10mm,. Made by All-Balls. Haven't broke them yet and it's been a couple years now.
