I had a eco boost that never failed me, actually I would recommend it to anyone looking into a half ton. Not sure whats crap about twin turbo's and 365hp in a small 3.5L? IMHO by far the best half ton on the market. Or you just don't like them because the mirrors don't "flip" out?

Whats crap is ya when they are working right they work good, have trouble with boost it aint pulling $hit, have it start throwing codes and sensors crapping out, fuel mileage goes in the crapper, and even when they are working good the fuel mileage isnt any better than my 5.7L real truck motor that has 395hp, also have two buddies who got just over 100,000km and had their turbos pack it in, new turbo and.....oh ya was just off warranty so that was a nice bill for the both of them. Not to mention they sound like a prius, no rumble of a v8 thats for sure, and yes the mirrors, not a fan, ugliest mirrors on the market, big plastic fisher price looking things. Ford makes a nice truck if you equip it with what should be under the hood, test drove a 6.2l ford limited pkg i think,just before I bought my 13 ram and was really impressed with it, made it a hard decision but in the end the price was better on my ram and I liked them equally, slight edge went to the ram on interior as well, so I bought my ram

Im one of those guys who know how to use the fog lights, actually used them for the 3rd maybe 4th time last week in the ice fog driving to work, actually worked pretty well, bulbs are brand new still, i hate the idiots with fog lights on steady in town, not brand specific however, id say its pretty equal between all brands

Ya re sale would be better on the gm, but not $10,000 better, equally equipped wasnt available in 13 as gm was so far behind both ford and ram at that time, they never got their head out of the sand until 2014, just cant see it being to far off the fords re sale value however, 5-6 years down the road that ford and ram are selling for the same all day

EDMONTON - A 21-year-old man is dead after he was crushed underneath the back wheels of a cement truck on Whyte Avenue Monday.
Police say the cyclist was heading westbound on Whyte Avenue in the right-hand lane when he struck the extended mirror of a parked Dodge Ram near 101 Street and tumbled underneath the cement truck.
Witnesses said the man tried to duck beneath the mirror before losing control of his bicycle, said police. He was pronounced dead on scene by paramedics.
“It’s a freak accident where he hit a mirror and just lost control of his bicycle,” said Acting Insp. Erik Johnson with Edmonton Police Service.
“It’s unfortunate that nothing could be done by the (cement truck) driver to avoid him,” said Johnson, adding police believe the mirror of the parked truck took the cyclist by surprise.
The truck’s mirror was bent forward a short distance from where the body was covered beneath a tarp behind the cement truck’s back wheels.
Johnson said the collision was “one of the worst” he has seen in his 16 years as a police officer.
Police cruisers blocked off both the eastbound and westbound lanes between 101 Avenue and Gateway Boulevard for three hours as traffic investigators examined the scene.
The cyclist’s name is not being released pending notification of kin.
Not charges have been laid.
Traffic investigators were seen taking measurements to figure out if the Dodge Ram was parked legally, said Johnson who added the cement truck driver is not considered at fault.
“The cement truck driver had no idea that he’d run over the cyclist so he’s not at fault in any way, shape or form at this point,” said Johnson.
The owner of the parked truck approached police and gave a statement, said Johnson.
Johnson encouraged Edmonton’s cyclists to pay attention while riding on busy roads.
Cyclists should move into the middle of the lane for their own safety when avoiding parked vehicles, suggests Johnson.
Cyclist James O’Hara rides his bicycle along Whyte Avenue daily to the University of Alberta Hospital — where he has worked for more than 20 years.
O’Hara said he rides on the sidewalk as he was once struck riding on the congested avenue.
“I stay to the sidewalks,” said O’Hara, “I can’t ride on the street here. It’s too dangerous and it’s too narrow. Somebody behind you can hit you. It’s so easy.”
The Edmonton Bicycle Commuters Society placed a memorial “ghost” bike on the median between lanes near the scene of the collision Monday afternoon.
Painted black and white, ghost bikes serve as reminders of tragic collisions and statements in support of cyclists’ right to safe travel, said society spokesman Chris Chan.
“It’s not to lay blame or imply anything in that regard but its just a reminder that cyclists and drivers share the road and we all need to be more aware of each other.”
Chan suggested the city should redesign Whyte Avenue to incorporate a bike lane. It’s something he believes would foster and protect both pedestrians and cyclists.
The death marks Edmonton’s 23rd traffic fatality of 2012.

whether it was 2 months or 2 years ago ....don't matter...I just thought your comments about teaching some kid a lesson were harsh IMO....he was 21 years old and got run over by a cement truck....show some compassion.....he may have been a tree hugger, or he may have been an avid snowmobile enthusiast....why would that matter?
You didn't know he died....maybe educate yourself before making an asinine comment on a public site that may be read by his friends or family?

As a driver, I don't like bikers in the streets any more than the next guy but they are there...deal with it.

I guess your reading a story gives you a better idea of what happened than the police investigation. I think you should make your self available to the RCMP, it could save them allot of money by not having to investigate, just call you up and walla, case solved.

When you buy a dodge truck , or Fargo as some know them, do you have to sign an affidavit proclaiming that you will drive around in bright sunshine or pitch dark forever more, with your friggen fog lights on ! And for a small extra cost you can put extra bright bulbs in them, point them towards the sky(cause that's how fog lights work best) they must add a lot to the Dodge bright sunny day day driving experience. Sheesh.

What does it matter if i have my factory fog lights on. They dont blind on coming traffic in any way. I see others with fog lights on and they dont bother me. Yea if you have aftermarket bulbs that are way brighter thats annoying but factory fogs do nothing.

arff, i'm not sure what they eat but if factory fog lights and mirrors flipped up on someone elses vehicle really bugs them, life must be all uphill for them! Same goes for the white Oakleys.

I like my led fog lights on my Dodge. They fits nicely in the factory location.
