I vote for Roy Maxwell. Becuase without Roy Maxwell....I would have to actually pay to sleep somewhere when I go sledding. And without Roy Maxwell... There would be no Sean Maxwell..... And without Sean Maxwell.... I would have to pay for fuel and stuff to get my sled down to valemount That is less money that I can put into other organizations... Varda, Sledbetties, Mountain Mania, ATV jamboree's and snow and mud jerseys etc.etc. So Roy Maxwell.... Is actually supporting like.... 10 organizations all at once and everyone has failed to recognize that.... And for that good sir... YOU GET MY VOTE!

I had tried to reply earlier.. my puter was doing the funky monkey at work I think.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. :) biggest hugs.

I think there are peeps like Tamara make the effort to reach out, and unite people without any ounce of ego, only love and acceptance.

The Dynamic Duo... Stephy Schwartz and Dave Norona.. Man you guys are busy and get A LOT done.. you are awesome.. so much love and respect.
Terry from T and T powersports, who supports, promotes, and lifts our spirits when they are down. It is so appreciated that you outwardly support the Betties PSN. To know that you are proud of us means the world. It gives us the energy to keep on keeping on.

I would have to say Sledderglen along with others but I know that my dad has put so many hours and years into trails trying to keep them open, cleared, groomed and enjoyable. He was also involved heavily in the ASA as president from 1995-2000 and when he resigned from being president he was still involved as the ASA sign guy picking and sending out signs all over alberta. He is amazing and I'm so so proud of my dad and his never ending devotion to the sport.

These are some of the other people that I also think they have shaped our sport into something special and deserve to be recognized for what they do <3

Ralph Sunderman Clearwater. Endless hours with clubs and BCSF.

Agreed, also has been instrumental in keeping riding areas open in our area and not allowing them all to be closed as caribou habitat.

We have a fellow in our Kelowna Club. I'll just use his first name for now as he is certainly the type of guy who wouldn't want to be put above anyone else. His name is Walter. I believe it was about 4 years ago he was diagnosed with Cancer and has been struggling with the disease ever since. He comes out to so many of our work parties, fund raisers and has been a fixture supporting our club for many years. Despite his struggles he's among the first to sign up for the sled drags every year and the number of miles he puts on his sled every season is amazing. I don't see him during the off season but when I first saw him this year you can tell he has lost more weight, my guess is obviously from his cancer. Even through all this the man has always has smile on his face and always stops on the trails to say hello when you're grooming or to lend a hand to the best of his abilities. I know there are a lot of sledders out there worthy of recognition, I'm just saying saying Walter is one of them.
