Super fun!
Friend has a yamaha 450 with a 2 moto kit. Been taken to the mountains a few times to play in some deep stuff.
I think hes looking to sell too.

Yes you definatly need the 450 or bigger.. They are a blast in the trees and really fun when you get a few guys together.. Trails are a bit sketch on all the kits without some mods..I raced the ground zero a few years ago. What a blast, we got to tear up a Golf course..

I've been hearing the timbersled is better than the 2moto. I agree you need a 450 at the minimum.

There are some really good youtube videos about the timbersled setup. They look well built and like lots of fun.

We never had the chance to ride the Timbersled last spring in Idaho. But we watched the boys from Timbersled go some crazy places that you would never dream of on a sled. At the end of the day they loaded 3 up in the back of a pick up with no deck and drove home. Maybe not for everyone or every condition but they look like a blast.

Yeah you need atleast a 450. My friend has a set of tracks on his 450 and i think it still needs a bigger set of balls. It was good on trails and little powder but not to good in the deep stuff.

I have Timbersled track kit trere sweet, they work awesome in the deep snow they act just like a snowmobile. I also have a 2moto kit for sale with a bunch of up grades I have done to it. asking 2800. The skis need some work done to them before there fun on trails.

looks like a 450 or larger maybe that xr650 i looked at would fit the bill then:d that should have enough balls to have some fun with, what kind of mods need to be done to the skis so they handle the trails well? and would a auto clutch be worth investing in? and how do they work do u just shift with out the clutch or no shifting needed?

i would say that a rekluse would pretty much be a necessity,,,im pretty sure u still have to shift (no clutch) and if ur in the wrong gear itll still pull for ya, give it a search on google they can explain it a bit better lol. The things like cheating on dirt single track, those guys can just putt through anything
