Digital wrench

Figured this was worth a shot.....

I am looking to see if anyone on here has access to digital wrench for after hours cash money jobs (or buy you a sack of beer if needed to keep things a bit more “legitimate”). I am just looking for a simple tps set at this point on my turbo pro, but have often wondered about this for bidirectional control ability.

U can build a tps checker for about 20 bucks. It’s Super easy on snow west I think mountainhorse has a great write up. I used a adjustable dc voltage thingy and it worked great. Just be sure to get one that that puts out at least 5v

Thanks dragonlain, I have actually seen these as well. I also know that the parameters are much easier to obtain precisely with the use of the digital wrench program. If worst came to worst I could certainly rig myself up something pretty easily, there are just more variables to consider when piecing together various components and the variance between meters.

I used to have open access to the program but unfortunately my friend is no longer employed with a Polaris facility so I am hoping to see if there is the same possibility threw this community.

I also forgot to mention in my first post that I understand the discretion that could be needed with this situation so please feel free to PM me if this is the case and I will assure you the confidence.

Ahhhh good old kanedog stepping up with another “shocker” of a post lol. It is pretty simple actually, some techs have there own setup and are allowed to play at home on their own toys without worrying about their jobs being in jeopardy. The reason for the pm comment was to make it so there wouldn’t have to be a public post that could be read and have multiple people harassing them for years to come. But I appreciate your sense of humour (and clearly lack of ride time) and thank you for your insight.

What kind of turbo set up are you running? I was running boondocker setups on my pros and you had to be careful using the digital wrench setting the TPS when the boondocker box was plugged in. Ended up making my own tool and had much better luck.

Running a mtntk kit and this is the first time I have ever had any issues with the tps since day 1. I may just have to get myself rigged up and do it the backyard way, but figured it was worth calling on fellow s&m ers before going that route.

What year is your sled? The TPS can be adjusted with just a good multi meter. Have done it many times. It can be done with the MTNTK kit on without taking much apart. I have that kit on a 14 pro and a 16 axys.

This is one is a 13. I think I may just end up having to do it with a couple meters. I have one that has the capability of sending a 5v reference and then will just have to throw a fluke at the other end to get her set. I was just hoping to simplify the procedure and do it the easier way. Getting old and trying to take short cuts... thanks for the input guys! (You too kanedog) ��
