Ok comparing a 2019 summit X and a 2021 Expert I know of a few things that are different. Shorter tunnel, shocks, remote limiter, seat, handlebars.

Im sure that stuff makes a difference but not a huge difference.

My question is there any difference with the steering post/geometry of the two sleds? Im a tall guy and I often think that if my steering post was another 2 inches forward it would be the perfect spot.

I have a 2016 doo and bought the 2021 expert t. The bars aren't the same, also the riser isn't the same block, the expert has smaller hand grips as the bar gets smaller at the hands. And I also hear the turbo steering post is different because they needed to make room for turbo. I think the turbo steering post is shorter. But I don't know from ur year sled

Difference between a 2021 expert and a summit x is nil.

Shocks, limiter, seat, shot is standard on the expert thats it.

Ok explain why a Summit X Expert is from $15099 and the Summit X is from $13699

That is not really " nil " there are differences, or my as well save $1400

Forgot about the adjustible limiter, Thats the only difference between the two, what I mentioned.

You paid extra for the color you chose as well.

Expert Spindles came on the x, the bars, and the short tunnel.

I wouldn’t say nil either . That rear shock is 1/2 the $1400 in value if you had to purchase it .
Will pull more money when sale time comes as well down the trail .

Nil means, there is not much difference between the x and the expert on the specs.
Cannot help on the

The shocks are calibrated the same. The expert rear shock is a c-36. Not a c-40.

The front kashima coated shocks are the same price as the regular x shocks.

I live my 2” forward steering post from Skinz. I’ve had one on my 2015 XM and now my 2019 G4 Freeride. I wouldn’t go without one these days. I’m curious if anyone knows what the differences are between the 2020 Expert and a 2021 Expert. From what I’ve noticed and been told so far is, lightweight hood/no glove box, the seat is just a little more lower on the 21. I believe there’s also a belt temp monitoring system now and maybe a new gauge? Anything else!

I let my buddy ride my turbo down the trail and I rode his 19. I could barely ride it, night and day and not talking about the power.

Updated running boards, updated shocks, updated spindles, updated seat, new gauge console, updated adjustable limiter strap, lower riser, small diameter handle bars, new small diameter extra grip grips, short tunnel, updated fuel pump (not sure of the changes??), and of course the new light weight hood and side panels. This comparing the 19 summit x to 21 summit to summit x with expert package

Its what u want . For me i like the sp the other models are just a waste of money. People swear by their expert models but for me i don't see much difference. I think if u only ride one sled all the time
these little changes seam big . For me i have 3 very different sleds so it is nothing to me . Buy a skidoo turbo all the rest of the g4 are just boring now.
