I know who to blame now when the pumps go dry in GP ^^^^^^^
little ol' me? I wish the pumps would dry up for like a week. I could use a few days off....

it was in valleyview last night. shoulda seen the shitshow there, trucks were trying to get fuel at the UFA and spinning out trying to get to the roped off pump island. watched 3 guys chain up to get in there only to find there was no fuel. seems not many highway guys pack steering chains either

In August and September we stocked up on 800,000 litres for this particular reason, should keep our fleet running for a week and a half, after that?

just what have you been smokin. tell that to a nascar or race driver.

(Torque x RPM) / 5252 = HP

Its not hard to get 800 ft/lbs of torque out of a diesel pickup. In order to get 800 ft/lbs out of a gas truck at say 4500 rpm you would need it to make 685 HP. Now that would cost quite a bit of money to get that much torque out of a gas pickup. I'm gonna stick with my Cummins. I'm thinking the high diesel price wont last too long and it will be cheaper than gas again.

Diesels suck without a turbo. Drop 10,000 on a gas job turbo and you've got yourself a power house.

That's why they come stock with turbos....

Gas job Turbo with low reliability and no warranty.... or....

stock Turbo diesel, epic reliability (cummins at least) and warranty, also stock with huge power ........ hmmm......
