Diesel shortage starting dec 7 2022

The facility i am at is pumping out record daily numbers of diesel right now, have never seen this plant put out so much.

Prices are slowly coming down. Paid $1.40 in Calgary today.

Where at? I've been going to Chestermere, been 1.47 for a couple of weeks

I’ve noticed prices for gas and diesel have been 10 cents cheaper in spruce or stony vs Edmonton for the last moth or so.

I'm shocked how much more expensive diesel is around me. Bought gas today, it was $1.57, diesel was $2.10 at the same station.

Glad my daily driver is a Ridgeline, it is good on gas for a truck. The F350 stays parked most of the time, except for hauling and towing. Wife drives a Stinger, and she loves it, it's okay on gas.

159 at tomahawk last Wednesday . Deisel was 181 in edm.

Getting gouged. Several places in the city have diesel < $1.40 and lots less than $1.50

Weird. An hour away in Salmon arm it's ~1.75

Always seems to be cheaper than anywhere else in BC around the shushawps.

Nanton Alberta, north end of town is a Esso. Gas at 1.27 six blocks South is another Esso at 1.18 Flyin J at South end of town 1.18

Go figure......

that's always been that way, I only made that mistake once in all the years we went to Elkatraz, of filling up at that first esso. After that, I'd either way till Crowsnest Pass, or hit the gas stations further south in town.

Claresholm has been the cheapest all summer at the Shell for gas and the Centex in Chestermere has been 1.39ish for diesel

Avoid buying diesel in Edson, Hinton is 20c cheaper. Edson retailers are gouging.
