They just raised gas prices by 10 cents a litre from 87.9 to 97.9 - no particular reason I can see. B**tards. As explained to me, how much diesel can be refined from a barrel of oil depends on the crude. Oilsands crude has more. Bakken crude (the stuff that burned down Lac Magantic) is very light so has more lighter products (naptha, gasoline etc.). You would think that in Alberta we should have an ample supply of less expensive diesel because of where the feedstock comes from.
Anyway, happy to see diesel finally coming down. Put any thoughts of buying one on hold when the price went up and stayed there. Maybe time to start thinking again.....
Its is just a big rip off by the fuel retailers in CDN. it costs less to produce Diesel than regular gas.Just saying
are those prices GST in or out? When I get my updates from the bulk plant there are GST out, just curious how they do it out there?this is my cardlock pricing

when you add in the extra tax's in BC, the end result is probably pretty close. The carbon tax in particular sucks.Im pretty sure its plus GST. We doo burn a bit and that affects volume pricing I understand
