Diesel heater install pics ?

Just ordered a diesel heater kit to put in my Firefish hammerhead, wondering if anyone has mounted their own or has pics of how it’s mounted in boat from Firefish. Thanks

I ordered a kit this spring and installed it in my hammerhead, do you have a drop bow? There usually infront of the passenger glove box with the exhaust through the hull beside your nav light and fuel fill on the opposite side. I done mine a little different, heaters in the same spot, I exhausted into my drop bow drain pipe and put the fuel tank in the engine compartment.

Spend the extra and put a D4 in also.

I ordered a planar 44D 4 kw heater made in Germany for 1800$ with everything included for marine install. Only thing I have to buy is the fuel spout and chunk of hose to go to my tank from fill spout. Has 2 year warranty on it.

I have a closed bow on mine, so you put the diesel tank on the opposite side of heater ?

And they upgraded my fuel tank to a 13 liter for 5 usd more...free shipping too. Was 111$ import fees. Thought was pretty good deal.

Yes, thats what steve usually does, the heater on one side tank on the other. I put my tank in the engine compartment and run the fuel line to the front under the floor boards.

Finally got it installed and it pumps the heat on high.

With your exhaust pointing up you will get water in it from rain and splashing.
Suppose to be pointed down wards a bit .
They get really hot as well so be careful with people and hands around it .

thanks I wondered bout that ..I just copied where Firefish put theirs...was thinking of machining a plug for it maybe
