It aint rocket science. Shouldn't need to be told.
Bullchit. It's not obvious, particularly whee multi-use and sled trails co-exist or to those who don't sled.

What about putting up little quad signs on the trails that are year round ATV trails?ill bring that idea to the next LSA club meeting. I'm not sure how easy it would be to come up with something effective. Perhaps signs at the major entrances showing the status of the snowmobile trails and advising riders to look for snowbmobile trail signs?

PreciselyTo keep sledders off? :d
Quad signage would work out there as well. There are some trails I use to add mileage but they don’t get taken care of as I think not many people use them. Could add some loops.

These are existing trails. Just grown in more then the others. And when I say grown in the sxs has branches scraping the side.can't just add loops on a whim unfortunately Keith as I'm sure you are aware there is a governmental process to go thru to add the loops. That land is crown land but SRD has final say as to what goes on in there.
Do you understand we are talking about the Edmonton area and not BC? There hasn't been this kind of snow for sledding in 3 years here. Most grooming has basically been a waste of time as it doesn't last long because of lack of snow+ warmth.Bullchit right back at ya. If you can't figure out a trail's been groomed for sleds just by looking at it you're either an idiot or don't give a chit. Grooming is blatantly obvious. How do you think the snow got that flat? It didn't fall that way from the sky. Around here the reason is always the second one.
Curiously enough, quaders never seem to get on the trails we leave rough all winter.
Put up signage saying it is a snowmobile specific trail. If it says multi use who are you to say the quads can’t utilize it. We all have the same rights to public lands and as previously stated lots of guys don’t even own snowmobiles. If all I had was a quad and still wanted to get outside and enjoy the trails I would. It’s not an ideal situation but if it’s designated as multi use it’s fair game.
Or provincial parks, skiing areas etc etc.I ride sled and quad i see both sides.
You want to talk about dickheads what about the sleds that were tearing around millwoods golf course.
