I have never quite understood why my secondary clutch has the ability to fine tune the secondary spring?. From what I have found out this is a Black Diamond Helix and with the tool I have full fine tune ajustment of the spring. Is there a base line setting to where I should start with this? What am I looking for when I am ajusting it? And when should I ajust it? Tried looking everywhere as to a set up for this but have come up with nothing. Thanks in advance.

Looks like there conversion kit. You should be able to adjust your spring tension with that. You gain or loose rpm with the adjustments depending on whether or tighten or loosen it. It will also effect your back shift. I also see that secondary also has the bdx deflection adjuster as well. If the sled seems to be pulling good should be no need to adjust.

So if I were to tighten spring tension how does this effect rpm? Do you loose or gain rpm? Thx Rjjtcross8

Tightening will increased rpm, however it is better to make weight changes in primary for rpm goals.

I am I correct by saying if I was to tighten the spring my backshift would respond quicker? I am on and off the throttle quite a bit and would like the "power" to be back a little quicker.

Yes that is correct. However adjust a little at a time, going to far will take away up shift.
