Hey guys, I just bought a 2002 Yamaha Road Star 1600. It has aftermarket pipes, K&N air filter and high compression pistons but I don't think it had any jetting done after the mods were done. At highway speeds when I crack the throttle it falls on its face for a couple seconds before it takes off. It also has some pinging sounds which I am guessing is detonation. I was thinking about getting the dial a jet kit as opposed to just re-jetting it. Anyone have good or bad comments about Dial a Jet?
