Ive been looking at the Valemount conditions thread and they are saying multiple feet of fresh... hope that trend continued north to mcbride! 4 of us are leaving sherwood park around 2-3 am tomorrow morning headed straight for Renshaw. Heres hoping it snows all day!

Snowing big fat flakes in town and snowing even more up top. Ron and Steve are up Renshaw today and PROMISED to post pictures and a report when they get back.

Our crew has gone up Belle with Rod's (Adrenaline) family for some snowboarding, toboganning, sledding, hot dogs, etc. We may even get some pictures posted from them too.

I rented a sled to a buddy of mine today because his stator went on his sled, and he has rode valemount the for three days and he also rode here yesterday and he said that the conditions are the same in valemount as here. He said that millage had more snow but the trail was brutal.

good to know. hard to find people that have been to both places in that short a period of time so its hard to know if the valemount area is really that different in conditions or not.

We had a great day at Renshaw. It was snowing so heavy you could not see where you were going. I'll post pics and vids after supper at the Griz. Snowing heavy at Bell as well. Renshaw we parked at 2K and it was good, riding on snow not gravel, coming back there was 6 - 7" of fresh pow on the trail all the way to 10. Best part is there were 6 people up at Renshaw all day :d:d:d , my sled ran awesome again.

If you are coming with real newbies then you might want to start them on Bell before making a trek up Renshaw, or stick around the cabin at Renshaw.
Have a great day!

I'd say do a day at lucielle or belle, then could venture intoi renshaw, and play in the area's around the cabin and such.

Yeah belle and Lucile would be your best bet for the first couple of runs. There are lots of meadows on belle a guy can play in and then Lucile has a bunch of bowls a guy can get into. Not to much that will make your ass eat your shorts
