Heading to mcbride will be there tonight. Trying out the new t3.

Snowed overnight and most of the day in Edson Ron. Roads are not the greatest around here. Drive safe my friend. Merry Xmas to you and your family.

We rode Renshaw today. The bottom approx 5 km of the trail is pretty light on the snow, but enough to keep things cooled. The remaining 12 km has icy spots and some hazards so be careful. Once we got up to the cabin it was snowing and there was about 4-6" fresh, we headed to the meadows close to the cabin and the snow was approximatly 18 - 20" deep. There was a few rocks or tree limbs to be bounced off, we beat that pretty good so decided to go into Blackwater. There is hazards in the odd area but enough fresh POW to cover most of it. In Blackwater the snow was still down a bit for this time of the season. We had snow coming over the hood in there, approx 18 - 20" of fresh on a good base. After that we hit the hill and headed into blackwater where we found plenty of great snow. Approximatly 8 of us had a great time in there, some rocks just be careful and pick your path. Totally worth it we had a blast. See by the pics, Those T3's are sweet, they sure make a big trench, guess it makes it easier to get to the stuck party.

Only been riding McBride for the last three years, never went out to the Ant Hills. How far 'back' is it from the Cabin? Or is it just easiest to enter from the second trail ?

got some more snow overnite.
the hazards on the trail are the creek crossings from about 3 km to about 14 km. I have marked them but with the snow may be a bit harder to see. slow down for today and I will be on the trail cleaning the markers today. thanks.

We like to keep things a secret. You can go through the the loooooooooond trail through the trees and get to the anthills via 27 but its not really that great and only celebrities go there to ride. Its just another way to get to the backside of the saddle if you know where your going. :tape2:
