Dealer told me I had to get the sled serviced at 10 hours, by the dealer on my dime. Any one know what exactly they do? I gotta be over 10hours by now. Don't want to void my warranty. Can you take it to any dealer? or just the one you bought it from?

Any dealer can do it. Prices may vary. Not all dealers do everything on the list and personally I don't think everything needs to be done. List should be documented in your operators manual under your seat.

Had mine done last year think it cost around 250 as well. They basically just check every thing over for potential problems retorque some key components change chain case oil check track alignment. Check for codes that may be present. If you do all of your own repairs you can probably do it all yourself other than check the computer for codes. More piece of mind for the not so mechanically inclined lol.

For 250 bucks its worth getting it done to satisfy the warranty thing I agree. But lots of guys don't get it done and I haven't heard of anybody being denied warranty for that reason. To each there own

Toggle the gauge and you will get the hours. In the old manuals, they said 10 hours or 500km. That wasn't even close to break in with the etec's. The technician can tell what percentage is remaining when he plugs it into his computer. The newest 2014's have the percentage flash across the gauge. I was only at 62% with 10 hours.

Dealer told me its not nearly as important for the 2 strokes, the 4 strokes however he did say they strongly reccomend bringing them in. He also mentioned It won't affect my warranty and anyone mechanically inclined and likes to tinker on their sled has already done most of what's on that list aside from dropping the chaincase oil. Wouldn't be a bad idea to drop the oil around 500 km ish though just to get all the fillings out after breaking in the new chain and gears.

Can any body tell me how to see the total hours on my '13? for some reason when I scroll through, only trip hours comes up, which I reset to 0. Sorry for the hijack but you guys are messing with the gauge right now so I figured this would be a good place to ask
