Any one been out to the mountains yet/

we have sent out the scouts ahead of favourable Conditions. These men and women are highly skilled in snowmobile repair but trying to encase them inside a house with the huge sense of adventure and curiosity that bounces around between their ears is pointless. Caged animals if you will....fueled by high octane in their veins and sparkplug eyeballs...you may know then an Shawn, Curtis and Danny however they are turbo charged pirates that loot the epic lines of the Robson Valley and beyond. These guys put the hard in core, they are what us common folk refer to as antsy pansy little kids when the flakes start to fly and the mystery of what lies up above the clouds is the only thing keeping them sane.

So so in short KrisG.....yes. There have been three of the wildest men on snowmobiles out probing 30-70cm of snow, bouncing off roots, rocks and their own nuts to get to it, but they succeeded, and now we have videos to watch for two more weeks before we can step foot where these legends have already been.

McBride and Blue River seem to be the snowy riding places so far, access is easier I think is one reason.

I don't plan anything until I have 12"/30cm in my driveway. Yes, there are some places to ride but very carefully as the hazards are lurking. I do have some early season areas that I will attempt but that is only because I have ridden them so much that I know where the hazards are.

There was a year we didn't ride until Christmas Day. That was a long wait!!

First planned trip this year won’t be until December 7th-9th unfortunately. Avalanche training the weeekend after. Too busy with work which is sadly becoming a trend. There is years we’ve been up three weekends in November alone. Dangerous, but fun. Been pretty lucky overall I’d say.. Came back with something broken only twice in the last 5 years (knock on wood) for the November trips hahah

I like to live dangerously. 2 days in and nothing wrecked even dipping the skis lots and pulling some hills. Great start to the year.

Pics or this means nothing lol
