Dash lights

Hi all, my wife's 04 rev 800 has the "!" light on. The light started flashing and now it's on full time. Sled seems to run fine. Full coolant, full oil, not overheating. I'm stuck?????

i had that problem with my old summit. after some looking i found my wires had melted to my exhaust pipe causing a short. i unravled the tape abour 5 inchs above and below the melt, seperated them, retaped individually, then taped them all together, putt it back into the harness's mounting brackets and i havent had a problem since. i'd look for a short in your wiring somewhere
