Cylinder install

Hey guy's need some help. Installing cylinder's back onto the crank case but the owner doesn't remember which cylinder came off which side. Same part # on each cylinder but on has a 1 and the other a 2. Sled is a 99 summit X. Does it matter?

it doesnt matter unless you had the pistons matched or.....

1 would go with the 1 piston.

what kind of pistons and top end and machining are we dealing with here.

All top end stuff was bought at Martin. All new. I was sure it didn't matter but thanks again for the responce.

yep if its just stock stuff it does not matter.

might be a good idea to check the ring gap.

are the cylinders new or just the pistons
