Poked a hole in my front left CV boot going through some mud... How hard are they to replace? How much do CV boots usually cost as well?

Any special tools to get the job done? This is the first time I ripped one up. :(

They can be a pain in the butt to replace, but the cost of not replacing them is pretty high.

Google it. I bet you will find a video on it.
It's not a bad job. Do it now or the axle will wear fast.

It's really not that hard if you have a service manual.... there are a few tricks to getting the "knuckle" apart without having to do a lot of swearing. If you are going to do a lot of work yourself on the quad then I would highly recommend getting a service manual. They aren't that expensive on ebay. If I remember right the boots are about $40. at a dealer. You can also get them on ebay but the quality is not the same. Good luck! :)

You may want to pick up a tool for the boot clamps, the one I picked up came with a good number of clamps that were a lot better quality than the ones that came with the replaicement boot.

The job itself is easy, you don't really need a manual for it, just google it on youtube, there's a few videos on there.

The boots of ebay are waaaay cheaper than at the Poo dealer btw.

Alright, so me and benclaluna450r got the axle out and cleaned it off nice. We also re packed it full of grease. The factory Polaris bands are a PITA to install!! We broke the tool needed to pinch 'em on.... Great. So I gotta take that back. My buddy Ryan (CanAm650) said I should use hose clamps. What do you guys think?

Should I get better bands, hose clamps or another tool to finish this job?

The new polaris clamps are rally hard to put on and take off. You have to push down on the tool really hard.
